As a musician :
Before recording, I try to evoke the same mental scene : play what came to my mind, to reflect it during the recording session.
But it will never be as before.
I can't capture or play back exactly the same thing.
It's gone.
What I play now it's just something similar.
What came to mind, where did it come from ? Why "I got inspired"?
If I had not recorded, it would have dissolved as smoke in the air...
